Sarah Flourance is a freelance writer, recovering lawyer, and activist living in Northern Virginia. She has a BA in French and Political Science from Rutgers University and received her JD a few years ago from a law school in the Midwest. When her nose isn’t buried in a book, she is probably telling someone about her feminist agenda. Last year, she founded Litsy Feminist Book Club, and this year, she co-founded Books That Shook Us, a project aimed at creating positive social awareness and action through books that have shaped our lives. You can find her on Twitter, Instagram, and Litsy (@bookishfeminist).
